43% of singles are comfortable meeting someone new on a dating site or app, so that translates to a lot of opportunity for you, if you know where to look.

For the highest quality matches, check out these 7 best Singapore dating sites and apps!

Paktor

Paktor is an app like Tinder that was founded in Singapore in 2013, and has been gaining in popularity ever since.

It’s the same right/left swipe, match=message format that Tinder made famous. And you can do all that for free.

But if you’re serious about finding a relationship, there are a few neat twists that come with a premium membership.

For starters, Paktor allows you to filter your matches by education and occupation:

Paid members can also use “Paktor Points” (the app’s form of currency) to direct message someone they haven’t matched with yet. That means no more waiting for people to swipe right on your profile to get a conversation going.

You receive free Paktor Points as a reward for using the app. You can also purchase them in bulk if you want more.

Here are all the features that come with a Premium membership:

Here is what a Premium Paktor membership costs:

  • S$47.98 for 1 month
  • S$39.66/month for a 3-month subscription
  • S$36.50/month for a 6-month subscription

Tinder

Interested in dating a Singapore girl (or guy) under 35? You’ll likely find plenty of them on Tinder. It’s one of the most popular apps with the youngest generation of online daters, although more and more singles in their 40s+ are using it as well.

You’ll have the best luck on Tinder if you’re in the capital city, as the majority of people on Tinder live in heavily urbanized areas.

Odds are you’re already well versed in the art of Tinder. But just in case here’s a recap of how it works:

All the essentials you need to meet Singapore singles on Tinder are free.

But keep in mind free users are limited to 100 right swipes every 12 hours. Depending on how often you use the app, you could hit that quota pretty fast.

Upgrading to a premium membership – Tinder Plus, Gold or Platinum– removes that restriction.

You’ll get some other convenient features as well, like a monthly profile boost and being able to undo a swipe. To compare all the premium features Tinder has to offer, go here.

LunchClick

Want a dating app that doesn’t require seemingly endless swiping to find someone you’re actually interested in meeting? LunchClick is the app for you.

In fact, on LunchClick there is no swiping. Instead, you receive 1-5 matches every day at noon, which you can either “like” or “pass”. You have 24 hours to make your decision, after which the match will expire.

When there’s mutual interest, you move on to the Q&A feature. Here, you’ll communicate with your matches via series of questions, like this:

You can choose which questions to send your match from a list of 100+, and answer the questions she sends you.

When you’re ready to meet up in real life, simply hit the “Ask Her Out On A Date” button and propose a meeting place and time:

If your date suggestion is accepted, a chat box will open up 3 hours before the date is supposed to begin and you can exchange free-form messages.

LunchClick is free to download and use. There’s also a Premium membership available, which comes with these additional features:

“Sparks” are the app’s form of currency, which you can use to do things like choose additional matches from the “Discover” section and re-match with expired matches.

All of LunchClick’s profiles are manually screened and either approved or rejected within 48 hours or so, so you can be fairly certain you’re communicating with a real person.

To be approved, you must be 21+ and genuinely single.

If any marriage documents are found linked to your ID, your profile will be rejected. If you’re divorced or widowed, you’ll need to provide supporting documents to the customer service team.

LunchClick is run by Lunch Actually, which is one of the largest dating agencies in Southeast Asia.

Bumble

Bumble has the typical right/left swipe format, but it sets itself apart from other dating apps because it only allows women to send the first message.

Here’s how Bumble works in a nutshell. When both people swipe to the right, you’ll form a ‘connection’.

At that point, she has only a day to send a message before the match expires. And if she does, you only have 24 hours to reply.

Once the initial message exchange has transpired, there are no further time limits.

Bumble is a dating app you can use for free. But there are also premium subscriptions called “Bumble Boost” and “Bumble Premium” that unlock some helpful features:

  • Beeline – Your Bumble match queue contains singles who already swiped right, so if you’re interested it’s a guaranteed match.
  • Rematch – You can immediately match with expired matches (versus waiting for them to pop up in your match queue again).
  • Busy Bee – You can extend that 24-hour countdown by another full day.

Plan to spend between $14-$32 monthly, depending on your subscription and how long it runs.

One thing to keep in mind with Bumble is that the singles you’ll match with are generally looking for a serious dating relationship.

If that’s not what you’re seeking in Singapore, you may want to try one of the other popular dating apps on this list.

CoffeeMeetsBagel

Classifieds Dating Site In Singaporee

Like LunchClick, CoffeeMeetsBagel is the perfect dating app if your screen time is limited. Guys get around 21 “Bagels” daily at noon, while women get a smaller selection of profiles – but all their Bagels have already “liked” them.

This dating app is particularly popular with Singapore singles in their early 20s to 30s, and is geared for those seeking a more serious relationship.

CMB’s format is similar to Tinder in that a “connection” is made when both users swipe right, and at that point messages can be sent back and forth.

Even though you won’t be investing a ton of time swiping through profiles, you still need to check the app daily if you want the best results. You have just 24 hours to “like/pass” on each day’s batch of Bagels before they expire.

And once a message exchange has begun, it can only last for a week.

After 8 days have passed, that ability to communicate with that match via the app will expire as well. But that’s a good incentive to get a phone number, right?

If you want more than your daily Bagels, you can see more profiles in the “Discover” feature.

When you see a profile you’re interested, you can spend the app’s currency – beans – to “take” a Bagel. If they ‘like’ your profile, you can message as usual.

You can buy Beans from the in app store, or earn them for free by using the app in various ways.

There’s a premium membership available for $35/month, which lets you “take” up to 5 bagels in the Discover section for free. You can also view all the mutual friends you have with each match, and read their Activity Report.

The Activity Report can be useful, as you’ll learn how active a person is on CMB. That means you can use all those freebie “takes” on people who are serious about meeting someone else.

SingaporeLoveLinks

If you haven’t made the trek to Singapore (yet), SingaporeLoveLinks is one of the best places to find women hoping to meet men from outside their country.

It’s one of the many international dating sites run by Cupid Media. So unlike some of the other Southeast Asian dating sites out there, you know it’s legit.

Plan on investing in a Gold or Platinum membership – you can create your profile and search for matches for free, but your ability to message is restricted to communicating only with paying members:

So if you want the best chance of meeting someone special, you need to upgrade.

Here is what it will cost you for a Gold Membership:

And for a Platinum Membership:

You may also want to consider using AsianDating, another international dating site in the Cupid Media network.

The format is essentially the same as – you’ll need a paid membership to exchange messages with free members.

A premium membership to AsianDating is slightly more expensive than SingaporeLoveLinks, but you’ll also find plenty of attractive women from countries like Cambodia, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

Date In Asia

If you want a 100% free Singapore dating site, check out Date In Asia.

Not only will you find plenty of attractive Singapore singles on it, you can exchange messages with Asian singles living all around the world.

Using the site won’t cost you a penny – literally everything is free. Of course, not having to pay for messaging also means you’re far more likely to stumble across fake or inactive profiles, and even outright scammers.

On the plus side, Date In Asia requires a valid mobile phone number upon signing up, as you’ll have to enter the verification code you’ll get via text in order to create your profile.

Dating

Checking out who’s on the site is easy – you can simply browse by country, or use the detailed search filters:

You’ll no doubt find a ton of interesting people, but be prepared to spend more time curating all your matches as you would on any free dating site. If you don’t want to invest the extra time, stick with a paid dating site like SingaporeLoveLinks or AsianDating.
